The Heart of Java was designed around a single principle, that to truly know Java, guests need to see it from many sides, not just one city. The journey begins in Yogyakarta, the city of courts and temples, and continues to Solo, a quieter palace city where batik tradition remains alive. From there guests rise to the highlands of Tawangmangu for pause and renewal, move toward Bromo to witness one of the world's most majestic volcanic landscapes, and end in Surabaya, a port city whose colonial traces still stand.
From temple to palace, from mountain to caldera, guests come to understand that Java is not simply a destination, but a series of faces that complete one another.

WHAT AWAITS YOU
In the darkness before dawn, guests ride a 4WD jeep into Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park and watch the sun rise over the sea of sand and the Bromo caldera, one of the most iconic volcanic views in the world, one that still feels immense even after being photographed millions of times.
On the slopes of Bromo, guests spend a day with the Tengger community in the village of Tosari, learning how people live, tell stories, and keep their traditions beside a mountain they hold sacred, then sharing lunch together in the village.
At Rumah Atsiri, guests wander aromatic gardens and discover the world of essential oils, medicinal plants, and botanical wellness. In the afternoon, they continue to Rumah Teh Ndoro Donker for tea with a mountain backdrop, a pause rarely found in an ordinary cultural journey.

Yogyakarta and Solo are among the few places in the world that still maintain active royal courts with traditions carried out daily, not merely historical sites.
Borobudur is the largest Buddhist temple ever built, standing since the 9th century and still serving as a center of spiritual pilgrimage today.

Bromo is one of Indonesia's most iconic volcanoes, with a sea of sand and caldera formed by ancient eruptions and still active today.
The Tengger people of the Bromo slopes still keep the customs and way of life passed down through generations, living beside the mountain they honor.
