The journey begins with an overnight drive from Jakarta, arriving in Yogyakarta at first light for a shower, a proper breakfast at Kopi Klotok, and an immersion into Javanese philosophy at Omah Kecebong. From there, the days open up further, sunrise at Borobudur, a royal tea ceremony at Pendopo Agung Ambarrukmo, a hands on pottery workshop, and the Ramayana Ballet performed against the backdrop of Prambanan's silhouette.
