Raja Ampat is one of them. A cluster of karst islands rising from turquoise water, coral reefs holding more fish and coral species than almost anywhere else on the planet, and small villages still living in step with the rhythm of the sea. This is not a destination shaped for tourists, it remains entirely itself, and guests are simply invited to witness it.

The Waves of Raja Ampat was designed to follow this archipelago exactly as it is. The journey begins in Sorong, crosses to Waisai as the gateway to the heart of the islands, traces Piaynemo and its iconic karst formations, visits the village of Arborek and the sandbank of Pasir Timbul, explores the hidden river of Kali Biru and the cliffs of Kabui Bay, and sails to the Fam Islands for one of the finest snorkeling spots in the world. In Waisai, guests also set out at dawn to see the red Bird of Paradise in its natural habitat, before returning to Sorong for a calm closing chapter.

From karst to forest, from coral reef to Bird of Paradise, guests come to understand that Raja Ampat is not simply a diving destination, but one of the most intact ecosystems still remaining on earth.
